Assignment 1 Oct 3 , 2017 Instructions For this assignment, we'll be using materials provided in this  link  to create a mix that combines clips into one song.  The contents of the folder include  Drumloop ,  Guitar  and  House.    The clips will be used to create 3 tracks: one MIDI ( House ) and two audio ( Drumloop  &  Guitar ). Requirements Sept 28 , 2017 Required Software In this course we will be using Ableton. It has several versions, the simplest is Intro. To learn more about features see here https://www.ableton.com/en/live/feature-comparison/ For the purpose of the course Intro is enough. Suite is available in the lab. If you decide to use your own laptop and purchase Ableton, there is an academic discount for the Standard and Suite versions. https://www.ableton.com/en/shop/education/ You might choose to use a demo version for 30 days, but that will not last you till the final project.
